It has come to my attention that the ObamaCare Health Insurance Exchange in Colorado has provided coverage to several thousand humans — and one dog — Shane Smith’s 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Baxter. So it can’t be ALL bad. Right?

Mr. Smith used his dog’s name as his security word for getting into the ObamaCare site. But somehow the information got scrambled, and the health insurance exchange ended up covering Baxter, instead of Mr. Smith. With Baxter getting up in dog years, this might be a blessing in disguise.

So when Baxter needs Palliative Care in the form of a nice puppy cut and bubble bath at the local Puppy Parlor, perhaps ObamaCare will pay for it.

There are certain things that I morally object to ObamaCare covering. But, old Baxter is not one of them.

Kudos Kathleen! You finally did something right.
