Well, school is over — for good, I think. I completed my certificate as an alcohol and drug counselor. I will miss all of my school friends and teachers. . . (That is me in the red in the front, middle of the picture.)
For now, I am not going to get a job. I want to be a wife and mom and grandma. But I will be doing volunteer work in the same field.
Going back to college at age 55 was a good experience for me, even though sometimes I did feel a little bit like Grandma Moses. But as you can see from the picture, there aren’t very many young ones in the counseling program. So I fit in just fine.
Now that I have ended this chapter of my life, I am on to the next. . .
